Discover the compassionate care you deserve at South Texas Pregnancy Care Center. Our dedicated team has been serving the community of Seguin and surrounding counties since 2000. From free pregnancy testing to options counseling and prenatal parenting classes, we provide a range of services to support your journey. Earn credits through classes to shop in our baby boutique for material assistance. We also offer limited ultrasounds and STI/STD testing for eligible clients.

The South Texas Pregnancy Care Center (STPCC) is a life-firming evangelistic ministry dedicated to educating and encouraging people to choose life, to make positive sexual choices, and to bring healing to those affected by abortion.
We are a non-denominational, faith-based, 501(c)(3) organization governed by a board of directors and funded by tax deductible donations from individuals, churches, local businesses and fundraising events. We do not receive any government funding.

Meet the Staff
Executive Director
Janice Weaver
Janice earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Angelo State University and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M. With 34 years of experience in education, Janice joined the STPCC staff as the Client Services Manager in 2014 and then moved into the Executive Director position in 2016. Janice is an active member of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Seguin.

Amy Cantrell, MA, LPC
Amy has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Texas Lutheran University and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Amy became a volunteer Client Advocate at STPCC in 2016 and joined the staff as Client Services Manager in 2017. Amy and her family worship at St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Braunfels.
Nurse Manager
Donna Laubach, BSN, RN
Donna earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has 12 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and Newborn Nursery. She became a volunteer Client Advocate in 2009 and joined the staff in 2010 as the Nurse Manager. Donna and her husband are active members at McQueeney Baptist Church.
Baby Boutique Manager/ Social Media Coordinator
Stefanie Bedner
Stefanie joined the Board of Directors in Nov 2017. She has been volunteering as a client advocate and took the social media coordinator position Nov 2019 as a volunteer. Stefanie joined the staff in July 2020. She co-owns and manages Bedner Piano. She has 10 plus yrs experience in social media infographic design. Stefanie also has over 16 yrs experience in various church roles. She and her husband are active members at One Hope Church in Seguin.
SHARE Coordinator
Sarah Anderson, SRAS
Sarah earned a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences from A&M. She is certified to teach 8th-12th grade science & taught for 14 years. As a department head, she was privileged to help open a new school. Sarah is a sexual risk avoidance specialist (SRAS). She joined the staff in 2019. Sarah & her family are active members of St. James Catholic Church in Seguin.
Executive Assistant
Sonia Uribe
Sonia joined STPCC in September of 2023, to serve as the Executive Assistant. She came to us with 5 years of experience from a fellow pregnancy center in San Antonio. She has many years of experience in accounting, after having been awarded a certification in accounting from Career Point College. She and her family have faithfully served in various roles and attended New Life Fellowship in Seguin for over 18 years.
Front Office Receptionist
Esther Tiemann
Esther joined the staff in September 2023 as our Front Office Receptionist. Born and raised in Seguin Texas, Esther has worked in the Banking Industries for 15 plus years and retired from Texas Lutheran University after 20 years of service in the Business Office/Financial Aid. Her hobbies are antique shopping and spending time with family. She is an active member of Hillcrest Church.
SHARE School Liaison
Joyce Borja, SRAS
Joyce joined the STPCC staff in September 2023 as the SHARE School Liaison. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland at College Park, is certified to teach grades 6-8, and is a Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist (SRAS). As an Air Force wife and former home-schooler, she has lived and volunteered in both educational settings and in various church ministries around the world. Joyce and her family are active members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma.
